About the Academy material

These video courses are a unique resource for adapting Indian Classical Music to the guitar. The knowledge I am able to present here is largely thanks to my Gurus Roopa Panesar and Shakir Parvez Khan who both play sitar. They have provided much of the raw material and I have used my experience as a guitarist, teacher and sitar student to develop the techniques and stylistic choices to suit this beautiful and powerful style of playing bringing the tradition to life on the guitar.
